QEEG Diplomate, is recognized as one of the leading leaders in the field of EEG and QEEG, and has processed more than 500,000 EEGs since 1972. He has served as president of the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research, as well as a member council and treasurer of the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback and is a past president of the Biofeedback Society of California. Jay was the first EEG technologist to be certified in QEEG (1996) and received Diplomat status in 2002. He conducted, published or participated in hundreds of research papers, articles, books and international meetings. He continues to give lectures on EEG / QEEG at neuroscience meetings around the world. He is co-author of the book The Art of Artifacting (2001). Jay remains busy with current projects and publications related to his seminal article on EEG endophenotypes (2005, Clinical Electroencephalography). He is co-founder and Director of Science at Brain Science International and is a popular speaker around the world on the topic of QEEG and identifying the phenotype of neurological disorders.

Peter Van Deusen has been the founder and administrator of Brain-Trainer International (BTI) since 1992. BTI, based in the USA, has branches in Latin America, the European Union, Australia / New Zealand and Brazil. BTI's global mission is to offer the brain efficient and sophisticated training, but one that is also affordable.
Peter started his work with Joel Lubar as a mentor and spent 10 years with 4 offices in Atlanta, training and supervising the work done with more than a thousand clients. From 2001-2007 he taught more than 600 courses in 15 countries, teaching thousands of trainers to work with his system called Whole-Brain. In 2007 he moved to Santa Catarina and participated in the formation of the Brazilian BTI network, which now has more than 400 certified professionals or in the process of certification.
Since 2002, brain-trainer.com has offered integrated hardware and software packages along with education and professional support. BTI continues to develop and improve the “Trainer’s QEEG” (TQ) -evaluation of 20 site-which identifies and prioritizes stable patterns between frequencies and places defined by QEEG research, producing a training plan known as Applied Research in Neuroscience.
